Le Perez
(Featured vocalist)
Le Perez has her musical roots in gospel and blues. After focusing on family and career, she now returns to her first love: singing. Le has trained at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley and sings in the Oakland Interfaith Community Choir. Her powerful vocal style in influenced by Linda Hopkins, Carmen McCrae, and Aretha Franklin, among others.

Ken Fukui
(woodwinds)
Ken Fukui while growing up in the bay area, Ken has played in many local jazz bands before attending UCLA and studying under Gary Gray (Principal Clarinetist, LA Chamber Orchestra) and Don Raffel (LA 1st call studio musician and sax player in the Tonight Show band). While at UCLA, Ken won the prestigious Frank Sinatra Award for musical excellence. During Ken’s musical journey, he has played with many well-known musicians including Jon Ward (Cleo Laine and Stan Kenton), Tom Politzer (Tower of Power), Chris Braymen (Maynard Ferguson), Greg Hall (LA Studio Musician) and Dann Zinn (Jazz Recording Artist).

Bill thompson

Bill Thompson studied music in Los Angeles. After returning to the Bay Area, he has found a welcome home as the pianist for local big bands, such as the Daddios and Seascape Sounds. Bill’s keyboard finesse is a key ingredient in Seascape Sounds’ musical melange.

george alfs
(bass)
George Alfs fell in love with bass, guitar and piano in LA as folk music was giving way to hippie rock. His rock/folk foundation expanded to include combo and big band jazz when he moved to the Bay Area to attend Santa Clara University. While he spent 27 years working at Intel, George always played music and explored new genres, such as musical theater and jazz fusion. George currently plays with rock cover bands Chubby’s All Stars and The Misguided Saints as well as Seascape Sounds and other jazz combos. George performs with the Top Shelf and Serenaders big bands and is on call with many local groups. George has done extensive studio and theater work, and has his own studio at his home in the hills above Santa Cruz. During the day George studies coastal mountain forestry and likes to swim, hike and ski.

peter Wallack
(drums)
Peter Wallack started playing drums in the 4th grade, and gives huge credit to his great drum teachers Joe Vasile, Gary Chester, and more recently Jason Lewis. Some local musicians and bands have included Brian Ho, the Daddios, The Poblano Project, Swing Solutions, Top Shelf Big Band, and The Misguided Saints. But Peter’s biggest musical love is theater, and he has performed shows all over the Bay Area including with Sunnyvale Community Players, Palo Alto Players, Starstruck, West Valley Light Opera, South Bay Musical Theater, and many others.
